Face recognition machine is being used to track whether students attend meal times.
The photo shows the main entry and exit gate of the Girls & Boys Hostel, equipped with a thumb access biometric system for secure entry and exit. This system ensures that only authorized residents can pass through the gate. Each time a student enters or exits, the system automatically sends a notification message to their parents, keeping them informed in real-time about their child’s movement. This setup enhances security, improves attendance tracking, and assures parents about the safety of their children.
Students scan their faces at the biometric device before entering the dining area.
The machine records their presence or absence for each meal.
This information is automatically sent to parents, letting them know if their child has consumed food (present) or skipped the meal (absent).
