To maintain a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment, all students admitted to Shri Jain Oswal Boarding are expected to follow the hostel rules. These ensure that every resident enjoys equal comfort, security, and opportunities for growth.
General Conduct
Students must uphold the values of ज्ञान (Knowledge) | दर्शन (Vision) | चारित्र्य (Character) in their daily life.
Respect towards fellow students, staff, and management is mandatory.
Ragging, bullying, or any form of misconduct is strictly prohibited.
Attendance & Timings
Students must sign in and out whenever leaving or entering the hostel premises.
Prior permission from wardens/authorities is required for late-night returns or overnight stays outside.
Regular attendance in classes/colleges is compulsory; absences must be informed in advance.
Hostel Premises
Rooms should be kept clean and orderly at all times.
Lights and fans must be switched off when not in use.
Any damage to hostel property will be recovered from the concerned student.
Visitors are allowed only in designated areas and with prior permission.
Dining & Food
Meals will be served only in the dining hall at scheduled timings.
Wastage of food is to be strictly avoided.
Students are not permitted to cook inside rooms or bring outside food regularly.
Health & Safety
Students must inform hostel authorities immediately in case of illness.
Medical assistance will be provided, and parents will be contacted if required.
Smoking, alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances are not allowed on campus.
Study & Activities
Silence must be maintained in study halls and libraries.
Participation in hostel activities, yoga, and community events is encouraged.
Students must use hostel facilities responsibly and share them with peers.
Discipline
Repeated violation of rules may result in disciplinary action, including cancellation of admission.
Decisions of the Hostel Management Committee will be final and binding.
