Hot Water Supply System
The hostel is equipped with an advanced Savemax Hybrid Heat Pump Solar
System, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of hot water for all residents. This energy-efficient technology combines solar power with heat pump functionality to provide eco-friendly and cost-effective heating. The system delivers hot water consistently, meeting the daily needs of students while promoting sustainability.
Flat Solar Water Tanks (Left):
These tanks store hot water collected via solar thermal panels (not shown here but connected externally).
They are insulated to reduce heat loss.
Heat Pump Units (White Boxes - Foreground & Background):
Labelled with “Heat Pump 1”, these units are air-to-water heat pumps.
They maintain water temperature (e.g., 56°C on the display) even when solar energy is insufficient (e.g., during cloudy days or nights).
The Savemax branding indicates a focus on energy efficiency and automation.
